A Typical Day

We meet and have class in nature. Children arrive, dressed for the weather, ready to explore. Teachers share the plan for the day.

Focused on something related to what is going on in nature or what the children have shown an interest in.

We have access to forest, hills, sand pits, beaches, climbing trees, and a creek.

Brought from home and packed in a (squirrel-proof) backpack or lunch sack, we eat in a circle and commune together.

We reflect as a group and share our experience of the day.
