# Family Nature Class

Join us for a unique opportunity to explore the natural world through science-based exploration and outdoor play with your little ones! Designed for children aged 2-4 years old and their caregivers, this program encourages children to engage with nature using all their senses.

## Program Overview

Each class is a journey into the wonders of the natural world, beginning with various learning stations. These stations are themed weekly, providing children with a chance to:

- **Practice fine motor skills**

- **Engage in sensory investigation**

- **Express creativity**

- **Develop pre-math and literacy skills**

Following station exploration, the group gathers for an opening circle, which is then succeeded by a hike. During the hike, participants can enjoy games, listen to stories, and delve deeper into the theme of the week.

Family Nature Class is a wonderful way to get outside with your little explorer, foster curiosity, and appreciate the environment around us.

## Details

- **Who:** Children ages 2-4. The group is limited to a maximum of 12 children to ensure a quality experience.

- **When:** 

  - Thursdays from 1:00-2:30 p.m      

  - Saturdays from 10:00-11:30 a.m.

  - See the schedule below for specific dates.

- **Where:** Shoreview Park, 700 NW Innis Arden Way, Shoreline, WA.

- **Cost:** 

  - Individual Classes: $23 per class for 1 adult and 1 child.

  - Additional child: $10 per class
